Terms & Conditions

The rules that apply when you book, visit, or receive a service at Top Nails, and when you use this website.

Last updated — August 25, 2026

01Agreement to These Terms

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of this website and the salon services provided by Top Nails, located at 142 Gallatin Pike S, Madison, TN 37115 ("Top Nails," "we," "us," "our"). By booking an appointment, visiting the salon, using this website, or receiving services from us, you agree to these terms.

If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use this website or book an appointment with us.

02Services and Pricing

Top Nails provides nail care, eyelash, and waxing services. The service menu on this website is provided for general information. Because the work is done by hand and no two sets are the same, the final price of a service depends on factors including nail length, shape, condition, the complexity of the design, the products used, and the time required.

Prices are quoted in the salon before the service begins and are subject to change without notice. Any price shown on this website, on social media, or in a promotional message is an estimate, not a binding quote. If you would like a firm price before your appointment, please call the salon at (615) 865-0679.

We reserve the right to decline or discontinue any service at our discretion, including where a requested service is not appropriate for the condition of your nails or skin, where behavior toward our staff or other guests is inappropriate, or where completing the service would exceed the time reserved.

03Appointments, Walk-Ins, and Late Arrivals

Appointments may be booked online through our booking system or by calling the salon. Walk-ins are welcome and are served when a technician and chair are available; walk-in availability is never guaranteed.

Please arrive on time. If you arrive more than 10 minutes after your scheduled start time, we may need to shorten your service, substitute a shorter service, or reschedule you, so that guests booked after you are not delayed. A shortened service is charged at the full price of the service booked.

Booking an appointment reserves a technician and a block of time for you. Scheduling is subject to availability and we may need to reassign your technician, change your time, or reschedule your appointment due to illness, staffing, equipment, weather, or other circumstances. We will make reasonable efforts to contact you if this happens.

04Cancellations and No-Shows

If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give us at least 24 hours' notice so the time can be offered to another guest. You can cancel through your booking confirmation, by calling the salon, or by replying to your reminder message where that option is offered.

Repeated late cancellations or no-shows may result in a deposit being required to book future appointments, or in online booking privileges being limited. Where a deposit is required, the deposit amount, and the conditions under which it is applied to your service or forfeited, are disclosed to you at the time you book.

05Payment

Payment is due in full at the time of service. We accept the payment methods displayed in the salon. Card payments are processed by a third-party payment processor; Top Nails does not receive or store your full card number.

Prices do not include gratuity. Gratuity is entirely at your discretion and is appreciated but never required.

06Satisfaction, Repairs, and Refunds

Your satisfaction matters to us. Please tell your technician before you leave the salon if anything about your service is not what you expected, so we can correct it while you are still with us.

Repairs. If a nail chips, lifts, or breaks within 7 days of your service, contact us and we will repair it at no charge, subject to availability. This courtesy does not apply to damage caused by accident, injury, picking or biting, exposure to chemicals or cleaning products, work or activity that is hard on the hands, or to services performed on nails that we advised were not in suitable condition.

Refunds. Because salon services are performed on your person and cannot be returned, services are not refundable. Where there is a genuine problem with the work, our remedy is to correct the service. Retail products may be returned unopened and unused within 14 days with a receipt.

Chargebacks filed without first giving us an opportunity to correct the service may result in refusal of future service.

07Health, Safety, and Your Responsibilities

Your safety and the safety of every guest in the salon depend on accurate information from you. Before your service begins, you must tell your technician if you have or suspect any of the following:

  • Any allergy or previous reaction to acrylic, gel, dip powder, adhesives, latex, or lash glue
  • Any cut, burn, open wound, rash, blister, or irritation on the area to be serviced
  • Any nail or skin infection, fungal condition, or an ingrown nail
  • Diabetes, circulatory problems, neuropathy, or any condition affecting your hands, feet, or healing
  • Any eye condition, recent eye surgery, or eye sensitivity, before a lash service
  • That you are pregnant, so we can seat you comfortably and adjust products where appropriate
  • Any recent chemical peel, laser treatment, retinoid use, or medication that affects the skin, before waxing

We may decline a service where we believe it is not safe or appropriate. This is not a judgment about you — it protects you and everyone else in the salon.

We are a nail salon, not a medical provider. Nothing said by our staff is medical advice. If you believe you have an infection, an injury, or a reaction, please see a doctor.

By receiving a service, you confirm that you have disclosed any condition listed above that applies to you and that you have followed the aftercare instructions given to you.

Please do not shave or use hair-removal cream on an area within 24 hours before waxing, and avoid sun, heat, and heavy exercise for 24 hours afterward.

08Sanitation

We use single-use files, buffers, and pedicure liners, and we sterilize reusable implements between guests in accordance with Tennessee Board of Cosmetology and Barber Examiners requirements. If you ever have a question about how a tool was cleaned, please ask — we would rather answer than have you wonder.

09Minors

Guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, who must remain in the salon for the duration of the service and who accepts these terms on the minor's behalf. Some services are not offered to minors. For everyone's safety, children who are not receiving a service must remain seated and supervised at all times, and cannot be seated at a pedicure station or near the workstations.

10Gift Cards and Promotions

Gift cards are redeemable for services and retail products at Top Nails. They are not redeemable for cash except where Tennessee law requires it, and they cannot be replaced if lost or stolen.

Promotional offers, discounts, and packages are valid only for the period stated, cannot be combined with other offers unless expressly stated, and may be withdrawn or changed at any time.

11Personal Belongings

Please keep your belongings with you. Top Nails is not responsible for loss of or damage to personal property, including clothing, jewelry, and phones, while you are in the salon.

12Photographs of Our Work

We may photograph completed nail, lash, or brow work for our portfolio, this website, and our social media. These photographs show hands, feet, nails, lashes, or brows.

If you do not want your service photographed, tell your technician and we will not take the photo. If a photograph of you has already been published and you want it removed, contact us and we will remove it from anything we control.

We will not photograph your face or publish anything that identifies you by name without your express permission.

13Website Use and Intellectual Property

The content of this website — text, layout, graphics, photographs, and the Top Nails name and logo — is owned by Top Nails or used with permission and is protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not copy, reproduce, or reuse it for commercial purposes without our written permission.

This website is provided for information and for booking appointments. We work to keep it accurate and current, but we do not warrant that it is free of errors or that it will always be available.

14Booking and Third-Party Services

Online booking, payment processing, appointment messaging, and website hosting are provided by third-party companies. When you book online you may be directed to a booking platform operated by a third party, and your use of that platform is also governed by that company's own terms and privacy policy.

This website is built and maintained by Astra POS LLC. Links from this site to other websites are provided for convenience only; we do not control and are not responsible for their content or practices.

15Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

Salon services carry inherent risks, including the possibility of an allergic or sensitivity reaction, irritation, nicks, or nail damage, even when the service is performed correctly and with proper sanitation.

To the fullest extent permitted by Tennessee law, Top Nails, its owners, and its employees are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of this website or from services received at the salon. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the service that gave rise to the claim.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for gross negligence, willful misconduct, or anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

16Governing Law and Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to conflict of law rules. Any dispute arising from these terms or from services received at Top Nails will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Davidson County, Tennessee, and you and Top Nails consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.

If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force.

17Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The current version is always posted on this page with the date it was last updated. Your continued use of this website or the salon after a change means you accept the updated terms.
